I’ve had the honor of being a physician since 1991 and have been humbled again and again as the Lord used His gifts through my hands. Becoming a doctor was my childhood dream and though I'd known from my youth that I’ve never been conventional, it took quite some time for me to realize how this also influenced my view of myself as a woman and my role as a physician. I truly valued caring for the whole person, not just their parts. Over the years, I grew in my understanding that I was purposely selected by God to be a vessel of His healing which transformed my practice in unfathomable ways. With this knowledge, I completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine. Armed with a greater sense of whole person wellness that can only be accomplished by the grace of God, I know that I can’t stop there. So, I now embark upon my journey forward (staff in hand) into my dream as an adult…evangelizing for the kingdom of God. Given the love and effort that He continues to put into restoring me unto Himself, I am obliged to encourage others to allow Him to do the same for them: mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.
For it is by His love that we live, in His peace that we stand and by His grace that we move forward.
